Hyderabad: Refuting the remarks of the YSR Congress Party Chief Mr YS Jagan Mohan Reddy against the Congress party, the PCC official spokes persons said that the Congress party would stand on its word and it was synonym for ‘faith’.

Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan here on Friday along with the another spokesperson Ms N Padmaja, Mr B Kamalakar Rao said that the Chief Minister has assured on Thursday on women reservation in the Local Bodies, and this speaks volumes about the party keeping up its word. He said that no other State was implementing the fee-reimbursement scheme in the Country. Some persons who entered politics to earn crores or rupees were speaking about ‘faith’, he said and accused that one person left the Congress party with his own agenda, to the detriment of the Party. (He was obviously referring to Mr YS Jagan).

Ms Padmaja said that the party is still firm on its stand on Telangana issue, and it is trying for a consensus among the political parties, and made it clear that some politicians, with the vested interests, incited the students to commit suicides. She said that the UPA government is positively responding on Anna Hazare’s ‘Jan Lok Pal’ Bill movement because the UPA Chairperson Ms Sonia Gandhi too was striving for ‘corrupt-free society’.(NSS)
