Hyderabad, February 4: Demanding the Congress high command to take immediate action against senior leader Mr G Venkataswamy for his outbursts on AICC president Ms Sonia Gandhi, the AICC secretary and MLC Mr Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy said that Mr Venkataswamy was criticising Ms Sonia Gandhi, adopting former MP Mr YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s agenda.
Speaking to the media at CLP office here on Friday, Mr Sudhakar Reddy demanded the Gujarat Chief Minister Mr Narendra Modi to resign from his post as SIT found him guilty in Godra incident. The Congress party was strong in Gujarat State with 54 MLAs and 11 MPs; he said and alleged that Mr Modi was only giving color to the development already achieved by the Congress government in Gujarat. He said that Mr Modi was behaving like a MNCs’ Chief Minister rather than people’s Chief Minister. Terrorism should not have any religion, he said and added Mr Modi was encouraging terrorism in Gujarat state.
Finding fault with the TDP Chief Mr N Chandrababu Naidu’s demand for resignation of the Prime Minister Mr Manmohan Singh on the 2G-Spectrum issue, the AICC secretary asked Mr Chandrababu as to why he had not resigned when TDP MLA Mr Krishna Yadav was arrested in stamps case. (NSS)
