Hyderabad: Expressing incredulity at the inclusion of Anakapalli MP Sabbam Hari in the delegation of Seemandhra leaders, Karimnagar MP Ponnam Prabhakar on Wednesday alleged that the MP is a ‘covert’ agent of YSR Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

Mr Prabhakar appealed to Congress In-Charge of State Affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad to seek explanations from Pradesh Congress Committee president Botsa Satyanarayana and MP Kavuri Sambhasiva Rao, who is leading the delegation which is scheduled to meet Mr Azad later in the evening, on the inclusion of Mr Sabbam Hari in the team of Seemandhra leaders.

Talking to media persons after emerging out of a meeting held at Rajya Sabha member K Kesava Rao’s residence, Mr Prabhakar alleged that Mr Hari has been acting like a covert of Mr Jaganmohan Reddy and hence may leak details of Seemandhra delegation’s meeting with Mr Azad to the YSR Congress Party chief.

“Mr Sambhasiva Rao must explain why he has included Mr Hari in the Seemandhra leaders’ delegation. He also has to clarify whether Mr Hari belongs to the Congress or the YSR Congress Party,” the MP from Telangana demanded.

Mr Prabhakar pointed out that Mr Hari had made serious statements against the Congress while extending support to Mr Jaganmohan Reddy, going to the extent of saying that the party would bite the dust in the state.

He Karimnagar MP also disclosed that the proposed ‘deeksha’ of Telangana Congress leaders scheduled to have been held at the Indira Park on August 11 to demand the deletion of Clause 14 F has been cancelled as Centre’s Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs have given a nod to send the file to the President for clearance.(INN)
