Hyderabad: Former Minister T Jeevan Reddy on Tuesday stated that all ministers and officials were collectively responsible for the loss that the state exchequer has suffered in the alleged land deals that took place between Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation and Emaar Properties.
Talking to media persons at Assembly media point, Jeevan Reddy said that those ministers and officials concerned during the stint of former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu would also be held responsible for causing loss to state exchequer apart from the YSR Cabinet. He said that the Central Bureau of Investigation probe should focus on all angles and bring the guilty to statute book.
While referring to his appeal to Telangana ministers for boycott of cabinet meet, Jeevan Reddy said that the Centre would take decision early on the Telangana statehood issue if the ministers boycott cabinet meetings.
Condemning the police action on Telangana MPs at Gun Park, who came to hoist national flag to mark Independence Day celebrations, he asked the Chief Minister to order probe into entire incident and take action against the guilty officials. (INN)
