Hyderabad: Though beloved Sathya Sai Baba left for his heavenly abode on Sunday, the holy town of Puttaparthi in Anantapur district would develop into most prominent spiritual center in the world, the State Bharatiya Janata Party president, Mr G Kishan Reddy, has said.
Speaking to mediapersons on returning from Puttaparthi, Mr Kishan Reddy appealed to all to help continue the services of Prashanthi Nilayam and Sathya Sai Baba Trust. He also observed that there was no need for the State government to take over the shrine.
Stating that last rites of the Baba were performed in the presence of thousands of prominent persons, Mr Reddy said that nobody should have any doubts about the affairs of the Prashanthi Nilayam. (NSS)
