Hyderabad: Appealing to all the Opposition parties to help run the House, the Civil Supplies and Legislature Affairs Minister, Mr D. Sridhar Babu, made it clear that the government would move a resolution in the House after evolving consensus on the Telangana issue. He said that the ruling party would not act as per the agenda of another party in moving a resolution on Telangana issue.
Addressing mediapersons at the CLP office here on Friday after adjournment of the House along with the BC Welfare Minister, Mr Basavaraju Saraiah, and the Government Chief Whip, Mr Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Mr Sridhar Babu said that the Congress MLAs were thinking seriously on Telangana and exuded confidence that the Centre would create Telangana.
Refuting the TRS allegations, Mr Sridhar Babu said that the ruling party doesn’t need anybody’s certificate whether it was serious on Telangana issue or not. He said that he had confidence on the UPA government that it would solve the Telangana issue soon. He said that the people were facing problems in the Telangana region with the ongoing non-cooperation movement and added that the movement seriously affected the sanitation.
He said that the non-cooperation movement would affect the future of Intermediate students who have to write examinations from Saturday. He said that it would also affect the students who would write the national-level examinations. (NSS)
