Hyderabad: Dissentions among the Telugu Desam party Telangana Forum members assumed alarming proportions on Wednesday with the senior leader, Mr Mothkupally Narasimhulu, declaring that he would not take part in the Forum programmes as long as Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy remained its convenor. He also made it clear that he would not attend any meeting held under the latter’s leadership.
Speaking to mediapersons here, the Tungaturthi MLA bluntly said that he would not accept Dr Nagam Janaradhan Reddy as the TDP Telangana Forum convenor any longer and would not attend any meeting convened by Dr Reddy. At the same time, he said, he would take active part in the agitation under the leadership of Telangana Political JAC convenor, Prof. M Kodandaram.
Meanwhile, several party legislators from Telangana, led by Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy, held a meeting on the Assembly premises. According to the information, when the party supremo and Leader of Opposition, Mr N Chandrababu Naidu, was speaking in the House on the problems of farmers, the pro-Nagam MLAs held a meeting outside the Assembly Hall raising many an eye-brow.
