Hyderabad: The former chief minister, Mr K Rosaiah on Sunday hoisted INTUC flag at Gandhi Bhavan on the occasion of May Day celebrations, organized by the PCC Trade Wing. The workers celebrate May Day festival is celebrated irrespective of nation and religion across the world, he said.
He said that every one has to try to implement the schemes beneficial to the workers instead of organizing May Day as a formality. He said that the INTUC has been working for the welfare of the workers.
The Sanath Nagar MLA, Mr Marri Shashidhar Reddy, the PCC vice-president, Mr Madasu Gangadharam, the MLC, Mr Rudraraju Padmaraju, the MLA, Ms Christina Lazarus, the PCC general secretaries, Mr Rapolu Anand Bhasker, Mr G Niranjan and the PCC Trade Wing convener, Mr Prakash Goud were present. (NSS)
