Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh State Haj Committee has so far submitted 4341 passports of the Haj pilgrims selected from the state to the Haj Committee of India for visa endorsement.
In a statement, the Andhra Pradesh State Haj Committee said that a total of 6157 applicants were selected in the State to get the opportunity to perform the Haj 2011.
Further 1281 Passports are ready for dispatch to the Haj Committee of India.
Chairman of the Haj Committee Syed Khaleeluddin Ahmad informed as many as 178 Passport applications are under various stages of process in the Regional Passport Office, Hyderabad.
The Regional Passport Office will conduct a Passport Adalat during next week for 121 cases. All these applicants are being communicated by the Haj Committee accordingly.
The Chairman of the Haj Committee has appealed those of the Haj pilgrims who have received their Passports directly from the Regional Passport Officer to submit the same in the office of the Haj Committee immediately.(INN)
