Hyderabad: Keeping in view the recent developments, security was further tightened at and around the Legislative Assembly.
The police personnel were allowing persons into the premises of the Assembly only after thorough checking of identity cards. A barricade was also setup to prevent the people from coming to the Media point from the front side.
Seeing it, the TDP rebel MLA, Mr Nagam Janardhan Reddy, who came to speak to the newsmen at the media point, picked up an argument with the police. He went hammer and tongs on the police. He expressed anger over keeping restrictions on the movements of a member in the premises of Assembly. In a fit of rage, he said “Mr Nadendla Manohar was not eligible to continue in the Speaker post”.
Additional policemen were also deployed at the Legislative Assembly. The police clad in civil dress and intelligence police have also kept an eagle’s eye on the premises of the Legislative Assembly.
