Hyderabad: Police have arrested six employees of the JNTU for trying to manipulate the answer sheets of the first semester examination. It is alleged that they tried to take away the answer sheets of some students and replace them with freshly written sheets to favour the students. It is alleged that the employees took Rs 25,000 to Rs 50,000 per paper from the students.
The Task force police have already arrested eight persons in connection with the case on Tuesday.
The University authorities have caught hold of these employees when they were trying to smuggle out the answer sheets of some students. Police have arrested on Wednesday, Ravi Kumar, Sri Kant, Raju, Mallesham, Chiranjeevi and Ramu. (NSS)
