Hyderabad, Feb.6 (NSS): The BJP senior leader Mr N Indrasena Reddy has said that the Congress party was never against small states. He informed that the AICC president Ms Sonia Gandhi had addressed a letter to the then NDA government requesting for creation of separate Telangana and Vidarbbha states. .
Speaking to the media here on Sunday, Mr Indrasena Reddy has asked as to why she wrote that letter if the Congress was not in favor of smaller states. He said that Ms Sonia Gandhi advised the then NDA government to create Telangana and Vidarbha states by appointing Second States Reorganization Commission.
He made it clear that the public representatives of the Telangana region have to submit their resignations in mass, to Ms Sonia Gandhi in Delhi. Then only the Centre would carve out separate State, he said and called upon the Telangana leaders and people to unite to achieve separate State. (NSS)
