Hyderabad: The Seemandhra senior Congress leader and former MLA, Mr Varadarajulu Reddy, has said it was not possible to divide the State now after the Hyderabad City was fully developed.
Speaking to the media at Assembly media point on Sunday, Mr Reddy said it was not proper for a section of people to demand division of the State now. It was also not correct to the Telangana leaders to say that the United Andhra movement was going on with the active support of the Seemandhra capitalists. The United Andhra movement will turn into a serious agitation by this month end, he said, adding that he gave a call for Kadapa district bandh on July 21 in support of United Andhra movement.
Pointing out that the High Court has directed the CBI to inquire into the alleged illegal assets of the YSR Congress party Chief, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and not by the State government, he said Mr Jagan has to prove his sincerity by welcoming the CBI inquiry into his assets.
