State Govt should face No Trust notice: CPI (M)

Hyderabad: The Communist Party of India (Marxist) National Executive Meetings will be held from June 10 to 12 at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram at Bagh Lingampally here.

Announcing this at press conference here today, state secretary B.V. Raghavulu said that the politburo meeting would be held on June 10 and executive meeting on June 11 and 12. He said that the state executive meetings will be held on June 13 and 14 here.

He said that the party secretary general Prakash Karat and politburo members Sitaram Yechury and Brinda Karat and senior leaders would attend the meetings. He said that the party leadership would discuss on corruption at the centre and the party’s future plans.

He alleged that the Congress government was not working for the people, as it was always busy in strengthening party base in state. He alleged that the State government was trying to conduct local body elections without party symbols. He demanded that the local body elections should be conducted on party symbols. He demanded that the congress government should face no trust motion and prove its strength in the Assembly.

Referring to AICC general Secretary Mr Gulam Nabi Azad’s comments on Telangana issue, he said that they were irresponsible. He demanded the central government to declare its stand on Telangana issue.

Referring to the talk of some parties’ trying to come close to the party, he said that there was no need for new friends to the party now in the state.
