Hyderabad: The Home Minister, Ms P. Sabita Indra Reddy, on Monday opined that the State government was planning to conduct SI Recruitment Examination without any dispute. She said that the government would not conduct the examination without solving the issue of deletion of 14 (F) Clause regarding Hyderabad as ‘Free Zone’ issue.
According to informed sources, the Chief Minister, Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy, during his recent Delhi trip, requested the Union Home Minister, Mr P Chidambaram, to solve the ‘Free Zone’ issue immediately. The Chief Minister reportedly explained to Mr Chidambaram that it would not be possible to conduct the SI Recruitment Examination without ending the row on 14(F) clause of the Presidential Order.
It was known to all that the Telangana protagonists wanted the State government to conduct SI Recruitment Examination only after clearing the Hyderabad ‘Free Zone’ issue. Accordingly, the State government was also feeling that it would be better to conduct the Examination only after clearing the ‘Free Zone’ issue otherwise the government has to face the ire of Telangana protagonists, the sources added.
