Hyderabad: The Telangana Congress MLAs have made it clear that they would take a decision on whether to attend the ongoing Assembly budget session or not only after the Telangana ministers’ Delhi mission. However, they would be in touch with the Assembly though they abstain from the House.
Speaking to mediapersons after a meeting with the Telangana ministers, Mr Baswaraj Saraiah and Dr Geetha Reddy on behalf of the Chief Minister, Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy, at the CLP office here on Wednesday, the Telangana Congress MLA, Dr T Rajaiah, said that they would attend the Assembly only after Telangana Ministers returned from Delhi.
Later, the MLAs went in a rally from the CLP office to the Mahatma Gandhi statue on the Assembly premises demanding that the Centre introduce the Telangana Bill in the ongoing Parliament budget session. The Minister for Infrastructure and Investment, Mr Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, also participated in the programme. (NSS)
