Hyderabad, February 6: The Congress MLAs from the Telangana region made it clear that they will submit their resignations as a final weapon to achieve the separate State. They said that they were going to Delhi to convince the high command on Telangana issue.
Speaking to the media here after their meeting at Arepally Mohan’s residence in Old MLA Quarters on Sunday, they reiterated that they were firm on Telangana issue. They said that they were ready not only to submit their resignations but also to any sort of sacrifices for the sake of Telangana. They made it clear that they will wage a war till the Centre introduces the Telangana bill in the Parliament.
Urging all the political parties’ leaders to fight for the sake of Telangana keeping their flags aside, they made it clear that they will participate openly in the direct movement.
MLAs Mr Arepally Mohan, Mr Somarapu Sathyanarayana, Dr Rajaiah, Mr Praveen Reddy, Mr Bikshamaiah Goud, Mr R Kantha Rao and Mr Abraham participated in the meeting.(NSS)
