Hyderabad: Appealing to the people to make the ‘Million March’ on March 10 a grand success, the Telangana TDP Forum convener Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy has made it clear that all Telangana public representatives would submit their resignations if the Centre took an unfavorable decision on Telangana.
The Agriculture doctors, farmers and agriculture companies’ dealers organized a ‘Maha Deeksha’ demanding introduction of a Telangana Bill in the ongoing Parliament Budget Session, under the aegis of Telangana Samanvaya Samithi (Telangana Coordination Committee) here on Sunday at Dharna Chowk, Indira Park.
Speaking on this occasion, Dr Nagam said that it was the final fight for Telangana and added that the people would not forgive the leaders who were against the Telangana movement. Alleging that the Seemandhra leaders were grabbing the Telangana resources, Dr Nagam said that the people of Telangana would declare the Telangana antagonists as traitors.
Demanding that the Centre recall the Governor, Mr E S L Narasimhan, the Peddapalli MP, Dr G Vivek, alleged that the Governor was obstructing creation of Telangana State by sending wrong feedback to the Centre. He also made it clear that the Congress public representatives were ready for resignations if the Centre failed to create separate Telangana.
The BJP senior leader, Mr Bandaru Dattatreya, demanded that the Centre introduce Telangana Bill. The TRS leader, Mr G Jagadeeshwar Reddy opined that Telangana could be achieved only by mounting pressure on the Centre by resignations en masse.
The TDP MLA, Mr Jaipal Yadav, the 1969 Telangana Agitators Federation Convener, Dr K Chiranjeevi, the TPF vice-president, Mr Veda Kumar, the senior journalist, Mr Pasham Yadagiri, the Telangana Coordination Committee convener, Mr G Srinivasulu, the Agri Doctors Association president, Dr Dasari Ajay Kumar Yadav, Mr Ambati Venkanna, Mr A Parashuram, Mr Vasanth, Mr Gellu Srinivas, Mr Santhosh and Mr K Ramulu participated in the dharna.
