Hyderabad: The Telangana TDP Forum (TTDPF) has decided to organize various programmes across the Telangana districts to achieve Telangana. It was also decided to meet the Prime Minister and the President to convey the feelings of Telangana people before the March 25.
Speaking at the Assembly media point here on Tuesday, the TTDPF leaders Mr Mothkupally Narsimhulu and Mr S Venugopala Chary have said that they will bring pressure on the Centre and the State government demanding to concede the separate Telangana.
Dubbing the Union Home Minister Mr P Chidambaram as a ‘villain’ in the Telangana issue, they asked as to why the Centre was not announcing a clear statement on Telangana though the Justice Srikrishna Committee submitted its report two months ago.
Finding fault with the Nizamabad MP Mr Madhu Yashki Goud’s statement that the TRS would merge with the Congress, they said that the Congress was trying to swallow the small parties and demanded the Congress to concede the Telangana immediately.
Responding to a query on differences between the TTDPF leaders, they said that they were united. Refusing to respond on another question as to who is the TTDPF convener, they just left the media point raising ‘Jai Telangana’ slogans. (NSS)
