Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Telangana Forum convener Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Tuesday revealed that the main opposition party would organize an eight-day bus yatra from July 7 in Medchal in Rangareddy district to create awareness among the people of Telangana over the importance of achieving the a separate state.
Talking to media persons at Telugu Desam Legislature Party Office, Mr Dayakar Rao said the bus yatra would be flagged off from Medchal in Ranga Reddy district at 3 PM on July 7.
He said the bus yatra would pass through all districts—Nizamabad (July 8), Adilabad (July 9), Karimnagar (July 10), Warangal (July 11), Khammam (July 12), Nalgonda (July 13) and Mahabubnagar on July 14.
During the bus yatra, the TDP Forum members would create awareness towards Telangana state and seek the support of leaders and people of all the districts it traverses through.
Mr Dayakar Rao further stated that the cooperation of all parties was needed for achieving the separate Telangana state. “Only through collective and united efforts, Telangana state can be achieved,” he stated.
He said the party would continue its fight for the cause of separate statehood.
The TDP leader also added that the Forum would extend solidarity to Osmania University Students Joint Action Committee who are planning to observe indefinite hunger fast for the separate statehood from July 11.(INN)
