Hyderabad: The TDP has demanded that the CBI should also investigate into the complicity of the Congress MP, Dr K V P Ramachandra Rao, in the doubtful deals of late chief Minister Dr Y S Rajasekhara Reddy which had allegedly benefited his son, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Talking to newsmen here on Saturday, he said Dr Rajasekhara Reddy himself had said that while he was the body, Mr KVP was his soul. Though the body departed, the soul was still alive and doing shady deals in New Delhi. He said it was a common knowledge that KVP was instrumental in every deal during the YSR rule and hence the CBI which was ordered by the High Court to investigate into the properties of Mr Jagan should also investigate into the complicity of Mr KVP under section 120-B IPC.
Welcoming the High Court’s order, he said while 13 chief ministers, who ruled the State have caused indebtedness of Rs 58,000 crores, late YSR alone was responsible for a debt burden of Rs 60,000 crores, he said. He said if only Mr Jagan’s illgotten wealth was recovered, all the people in the State would be rid of indebtedness, he added.
