Hyderabad:Condemning the allegations of TDP Politburo member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu that the Congress party president Sonia Gandhi was responsible for unrest in the state, All India Congress Committee secretary Ponguleti Sudhakar said that the Telugu Desam Party’s ambivalent attitude is responsible for it.
Talking to media persons at Congress Legislature Party Office on Friday Ponguleti Sudhakar said that the TDP Telangana Forum members can only respond to such statements. Yanamala also claimed that the party is committed to the resolution on Telangana adopted during Mahanadu- 2011 and not to the letter submitted to Pranab Mukerjee in 2008.
P. Sudhakar further said that when the Congress is making efforts to solve the problem, a section of Girijans (tribals) in the state demanded formation of a tribal state.
However, I will never find a fault in raising tribal state with capital of Bhadrachalam in Khammam district, he stated and asked as to why the tribals have raised this issue when the high command is trying to solve T state imbroglio.
He suspected that a conspiracy is going on to hamper the process of Telangana formation.
