Hyderabad, Feb.11 (NSS): Refuting the charges leveled against the TDP Chief Mr N Chandrababu Naidu by the former MP Mr YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the TDP leader Mr Revanth Reddy lashed out at the latter for alleging that the completion of Polavarm project construction was being delayed because of Mr Naidu.

He alleged that Mr Jagan was trying to cover up his father’s sins by organizing proagrammes like ‘Polavaram Haritha Yatra’. The former Chief Minister late Dr YSR and Rajya Sabha member Dr KVP Ramachandra Rao were the main culprits in the Polavaram corruption, he alleged.

In an open letter to Mr Jagan on Friday, Mr Revanth Reddy has alleged that the late Dr YSR was main reason for corruption in the State. He said that Dr YSR created a situation that the people have to shoulder crores of rupees additional burden. He advised Mr Jagan to read the letter coolly while taking rest after the ‘Haritha Yatra’ walk. He alleged that it was surprising that Mr Jagan, who earned lakhs of crores of rupees during his father’s rule illegally, has taken up the ‘Haritha Yatra’. He said that Mr Jagan would win the bye-elections in his own constituency if he completed the projects taken up under the ‘Jalayagnam’ with the money he earned illegally. He stated that people would not believe Mr Jagan because his father Dr YSR only flown corruption instead of water, digging only canals under the ‘Jalayagnam’.

He asked Mr Jagan whether he had the guts to write a letter demanding CBI inquiry into ‘Jalayagnam’ corruption. He alleged that the Centre was not taking any action against Mr Jagan because it accepted the corrupt money from the State government. He demanded the AICC president Ms Sonia Gandhi to prove her sincerity by ordering an inquiry against Mr Jagan. (NSS)
