Hyderabad: The TDP chief, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, has announced that the NTR Memorial Trust would be setting up 2,000 Arogya Bhandars on a pilot basis for creating employment to the unemployed youth. Mr Naidu distributed 25 Egg Arogya Bhandars to 25 youths on Saturday morning, formally launching the scheme.
Speaking to the media later, Mr Naidu said that the NTR Trust Bhavan was taking up several schemes to create employment to the unemployed youth. It was as part of these efforts that employment was being created with the financial help of Venkateswara Hatcheries and Neck Chairperson, Ms Anuradha Desai. He said after the pilot project became successful, 2,000 Neck Arogya Bhadars would be set up in all municipalities and mandal headquarters. He said unemployed youth apart from gaining employment, would also be spreading health through egg food items.
Mr Naidu said the NTR Memorial Trust, Neck and NG Ranga Home Science department has given training to 200 unemployed youth in the preparation of 18 types of food items with egg. He said that through NTR Memorial Trust, several service activities were being undertaken throughout the State. He said safe drinking water plants were being set up in fluoride-affected areas.
