Hyderabad: Taking serious exception at Seemandhra MLAs distributing book-lets, published by one Mr Punna Rao, against Telangana people, in the Assembly premises, the Telangana Congress MLAs have questioned whether the Seemandhras were debauchers if Telanganites were boozers. They demanded the publishers to tender an unconditional apology to the four-crore Telangana people.

Speaking at the Assembly media point here on Tuesday, the Alair MLA Mr B Bikshmaiah Goud said he has lodged a complaint with the Deputy Speaker Mr Nadendla Manohar, demanding action against the book-let distributors in the House. He warned that they will stall the House if he failed to take action against the book-let distributors.

Countering the remarks published in the book-let, the Shadnagar MLA Mr C Prathap Reddy said that Telangana people, particularly those from Mahabubnagar district, migrate from one place to other to earn their livelihood by working hard, but they were not boozers. (NSS)
