Hyderabad: Describing the attacks on Congress leaders by Telangana protagonists when they visited the body of Telangana ideologue Prof.Jayashankar at Warangal, as the projection of feelings of Telangana people, the Telangana Congress MPs have said that they will decide their action plan after having another meeting on July 1.

Speaking to the media at the residence of Peddapally MP Dr G Vivek here on Friday, after a meeting of MPs Dr Manda Jagannadam, Mr Balaram Naik, Mr Vivek; Nalgonda MP Mr Gutta Sukhender Reddy urged the leaders to act firmly in achieving separate Telangana state, and said that some of the Telangana leaders were adopting ‘divide and rule policy’. He said that the Telangana movement will be weakened and the separate Telangana creation process would be delayed if the leaders resorted to criticize Telangana protagonists.

Stating that they were convincing the Seemandhra leaders regarding division of the State, Mr Gutta has said that resorting to ‘attacks’ was not correct. He said that almost all the MPs of the Seemandhra, except five, were not opposing the creation of separate Telangana. He said that it was time for the Telangana, Seemandhra people to live separately, and it was not possible to live together anymore. He Recalled the statement of the former Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru that the people of Telangana and Seemandhra may live separately at anytime when they were not in a position to live together.

Mr Reddy said that it was the conspiracy of Seemandhra leaders to campaign coloring the attacks as attacks on ‘Dalit’ Congress leaders, at Warangal. He said that he was not feeling that the attacks were part of political conspiracy, and were emotional attacks of people.

Saying that the TDP leaders who failed to make their leader address a letter to the Union Home Minister Mr P Chidambaram, have no right to set deadlines on Telangana issue. Rebutting the Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal, he said that his criticism deserved to be confined to the dust bin, and they would throw it in a dust bin. He said that Rajagopal’s political life was just seven years, and there was no need to take his criticism on Telangana issue seriously.
