Hyderabad: Members of the Steering Committee of the Telangana Congress met in the house of the Panchayat Minister, Mr K. Jana Reddy, here on Friday and discussed their future course of action.

The AICC leader in charge of State affairs, Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad, has been trying to convince the Telangana Congress leaders to withdraw their resignations. He was particularly trying to make the MPs to withdraw as their resignations would tell on the strength of the UPA government.

The Telangana Congress leaders are going to take some clear decisions on all these aspects. They will also decide on the future course of action of the MLAs whose resignations have been rejected by the Assembly Speaker, Mr Nadendla Manohar.

The MPs, Dr K Keshav Rao, Mr Gutha Sukhender Reddy, Mr G. Vivek and former minister, Mr R. Damodar Reddy were among those who attended the meeting.
