New Delhi: Telangana employees’ JAC leaders met the Union Home Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, here on Monday.
Talking to the media later, the JAC leaders said they had explained the problems faced by the Telangana employees to the minister and asked him to redress them. They also said that they had urged him to remove rule 14 F.
Stating that they had impressed upon the Union Home Minister of the need to concede Telangana State at the earliest, they said they warned that they would intensify their agitation if an early decision was not taken on the issue.
They said that Mr Chidambaram has assured them that he would soon call an all-party meeting and resolve the Telangana tangle. (NSS)
