Hyderabad:Telangana Employees Joint Action Committee Chairman Swamy Goud appealed to all Telangana elected representatives to express solidarity to the employees’ strike beginning from August 17.
Talking to media persons on Friday after emerging out of Government Employees State Executive Meeting convened at TNGO Bhavan, Swamy Goud called upon the elected representatives to resign afresh expressing moral support to the employee’s agitation.
If the elected representatives dillydally on resignations and begin consultations with high command over the issue, it would send wrong message among people, he said and added it would also show disunity among the leaders on the state formation.
Alleging that the high command started consultation process only to buy time with Congress leaders, Swamy Goud expressed suspicions over the commitment of government for formation of Telangana state.
He said that the employees would begin their agitation from August 1 demanding introducing of T bill in the monsoon session of parliament.
“There is no rollback in our decision and we will go ahead with agitation pressing for the formation of T state and set right injustice meted out to Telangana employees in the united Andhra Pradesh,” he stated.(INN)
