Hyderabad, Feb., 16(NSS): The BJP senior leader, Mr Ch. Vidyasagar Rao, has said that separate Telangana State would be possible only through a common fight by all those committed to the cause and not by touching the feet of the Congress president, Ms Sonia Gandhi.
Talking to the media here on Wednesday, the former Union minister said that the BJP would support the Telangana Bill if it was introduced in Parliament. He said that if the government failed to do so, the BJP would introduce a private Bill.
Mr Rao has threatened to lay a siege to the houses of MLAs of Telangana region if they failed to support bifurcation of the State. He also warned that the MLAs would not be allowed to move out of their houses. Calling upon all parties to unite, Mr Rao said that only a concerted fight could pave way for Telangana. (NSS)
