Hyderabad: The TDP expelled leader, Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy, has questioned why the Telangana leaders of the TDP should have a separate Telangana Forum when the party chief, Mr N. Chandrababu Naidu, has declared that his would be the final decision on Telangana.

Talking to the media here on Friday, Dr Nagam described the leaders of the TDP Telangana Forum as slaves of Mr Naidu. He said that Mr Naidu has totally destabilized the TDP Telangana Forum through his statement. Alleging that Mr Naidu has proved through his remarks that he was an integrationist, Dr Nagam said it was better for the Telangana Forum leaders to scrap it. He also questioned them how long more they proposed to lead the lives of slaves. He said as it was totally clear that Mr Naidu was an integrationist, they should leave the TDP. He told them to unshackle themselves and come out if they have spine.

Dr Nagam said Mr Naidu was evading his own responsibility by constantly blaming the Centre for the Telangana tangle. He said he should first explain his own stand before blaming the Centre. Referring to appointment of in-charges in his constituency, he said he was not to be cowed down by such actions. He has warned that it was not possible to run politics in Telangana with money.

He said the Telangana Congress and TDP MLAs would be burying themselves if they do not resign once again. Looking at the TDP leaders of the region, he said it appeared that they were not interested in Telangana. He questioned if the TDP that was borne with the sole purpose of protecting self-respect of the Telugus would not bother about the self respect of the people of Telangana.
