Tight Security For Legislature Session

Hyderabad, Feb., 16(NSS): The government has made elaborate security arrangements for the budget session of the Legislature to be commenced from February 17, in view of the Government Employees’ Non-Cooperation Movement and the on- going Telangana agitation. According to Central Zone DCP Mr Akun Sabarwal, the police department is providing three-layered security for the Assembly budget session.

He informed the media here at Assembly on Wednesday that six platoons of additional forces including BSF, CRPF, and CISF will be deployed for the security of the Assembly. He informed that two SPs, five Additional SPs, 11 DSPs, 24 CIs, 73 SIs, 500 armed and 860 unarmed police personnel will be deployed to meet any untoward situation during the budget session. (NSS)
