TJAC: No point in holding talks

Posted by on July 29, 2011 0 Comment

The Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) on Thursday said the ongoing talks by Telangana Congress leaders with the Centre and the Congress High Command was directionless.

“It would have been good if the talks focused on bifurcation of the state. There is no clarity on Telangana. The talks looked more like studying the issue than bifurcation of the state, which is the core demand,” Prof. Kodandaram, convener, TJAC said in New Delhi.

He said this was the reason why TJAC and employees decided to intensify the agitation and paralyse administration. “There is no going back on strike till T-demand is accepted,” he said.
