Hyderabad: The Telangana JAC has decided to take the ongoing movement to the streets of New Delhi and parade the resigned public representatives before the President of India to gain national attention. Consequently, the Vanta-Varpu programme scheduled for July 8 and 9 and the Rail Roko to be held on July 10 have been postponed.

According to the information, the Telangana JAC would take out a procession of the resigned representatives from Gun Park to Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. If they get an appointment from the Rashtrapathi Bhavan, the elected representatives, who had resigned might be paraded before the President.

It is learnt that the Telangana JAC, which met here on Thursday, decided about the programme. The JAC has felt that by taking the movement to New Delhi, it would be possible to attract national attention and also show to the Delhi bosses, the intensity of the Telangana sentiment. The JAC is likely to meet all those who have resigned and chalk out a programme with their consent. The JAC would call the MLAs and MPs of all parties, who have resigned for a meeting and explain about the present programme.
