Traffic Regulation On PMs Arrival At Feb 5

Hyderabad, February 4: The City Police Commissioner, Mr A.K. Khan, has notified for information of the public that in order to facilitate proper regulation of vehicular traffic in connection with the visit of the Prime Minister, Dr S. Manmohan Singh, to the city on February 5 and 6 the following traffic restrictions/diversions will be made.

Traffic will either be stopped or diverted on February 5 from 1930 hrs to 2015 hrs from Begumpet Airport to Raj Bhavan. The Prime Minister will pass from the Airport through PNT Jn. – Shyamlal Building – HPS – Begumpet Flyover – Greenlands Jn. – Rajiv Gandhi Statue (Monappa Island) – Yashoda Hospital – Villa Mary – Raj Bhavan – V.V. statue.

On February 6, the traffic will either be stopped or diverted from 0830 Hrs to 0915 Hrs as the Prime Minister will leave Raj Bhavan for Begumpet Airport. He will pass through V.V. statue – Raj Bhavan – Villay Mary – Yashoda Hospital – Rajiv Gandhi Statue (Monappa Island) – Greenlands Junction – Begumpet Flyover – HPS – Shyamlal Building – PNT Jn- Begumpet Airport

The city police chief appealed to the citizens to take alternative routes to their destinations and avoid the above routes during the specified timings and co-operate with the Traffic Police. (NSS)
