Hyderabad: The Andhra Pradesh State Haj Committee on Tuesday said that the first Training Camp for intending Haj Pilgrims who have been selected for Haj 2011 will be held on June 19 at the Hi-Tech Garden Function hall, Malakpet.
Minister for Minority Welfare and Wakf Mohammed Ahmadullah will inaugurate the Training Camp, while state Haj Committee chairman Syed Khaleeluddin Ahmed will preside.
The Haj Committee chairman requested all the selected pilgrims to attend the Training Camp.
He also said that the pilgrims intending to perform the annual pilgrimage through Private Tour Operators can attend the programme.
During the Training Camp, eminent religious scholars, under the supervision of Moulana Mufti Sadeq Mohiuddin, will deliver lectures on the Manasik-e-Haj and Umrah and Ziarath-e-Madinah Munnawarah.
Special arrangements will be made for lady pilgrims, Mr Khaleeluddin Ahmed said. The pilgrims were requested not to bring along minor children to the training camp.(INN)
