Hyderabad, February 4: The Home Minister, Ms P Sabitha Indra Reddy, has said that the poor people were getting a lot of benefits with the ongoing ‘Rachchabanda’ programme in the State.
Ms Sabitha Indra Reddy was the chief guest at the Rachchabanda programme held at Myladevarpally under Rajendranagar mandal on Thursday.
Addressing the gathering, she called upon the officials to extend the benefits of the government schemes to the eligible and said that the Rachchabanda programme got full response from the people. She said that she was sanctioning Rs 4.80 lakhs under the Pavala Vaddi scheme to the Women Groups. She also said that she was sanctioning pensions to 108 new members.
The Home Minister said that she would hand over 6,000 houses built under Rajiv Gruha Kalpa to the beneficiaries soon after their completion. The State government was keen on solving the grievances of the people on regular basis, she said, adding that the government was taking initiative to extend benefits to all the poor under Ration Cards, Pensions, Houses and Rajiv Arogyasri schemes.
The Ranga Reddy district Collector, Mr M Dana Kishore, said that the Rachchabanda programme was getting tremendous response in the district and directed the officials to issue receipts for every application submitted by the people. He assured the people that every eligible person would get benefits during the programme.
The Deputy Collector, Ms Vijaya Laxmi, the Special Officer, Mr Ramachandran and others participated in the program. (NSS)
