TRS Asks Cong Telangana Leaders To Quit Party

Posted by on March 4, 2011 0 Comment

Hyderabad: The TRSLP leader Mr Etela Rajender demanded the Congress MPs and MLAs to leave the party if the Centre failed to concede the demand of creation of Telangana State.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, Mr Rajender asked as to how long the MPs and MLAs would continue in the Congress party when it was deceiving Telangana people. He alleged that it was not proper for the Congress MPs and MLAs to hang on with the positions when the Centre was not conceding the Telangana demand.

Urging the Telangana public representatives to leave their respective parties to work with the TJAC to achieve Telangana State, Mr Rajender made it clear that the TDP, which didn’t know about
the movements, has no right to criticise the TRS. TDP leaders were only concentrating on positions but not on Telangana issue, he said and alleged that the TDP has already lost its one eye with its two-eye
theory. He requested the people to make the ‘Million March’ a grand success. (NSS)
