Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi Executive Committee will meet on June 10 at 2 PM to study the recent statements issued by senior by Congress leaders including Union Home Minister P Chidambaram and Congress In-Charge Of State Affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad and to discuss the future course of action to be adopted on Telangana.
The meeting, to be held at the Telangana Bhavan, will also review Telangana Political Joint Action Committee programmes.
The meeting will also take in the recent political developments including the resignation of Endowments Minister Jupally Krishna Rao and suspension of Telugu Desam Telangana Leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy.
The meeting will also discuss the party’s strategy to be adopted over the forthcoming Local Body elections.
TRS Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao and senior party leaders will attend the meeting.
The meeting assumes importance in the wake of Congress MPs and Ministers issuing warnings that they would submit resignations from their posts if the Centre does not make a favourable announcement on Telangana by July 1.(INN)
