Hyderabad: The TRS leader and Siricilla MLA, K Taraka Rama Rao made it clear that his party would support ‘no confidence motion’ against Kiran Kumar Reddy Government whenever it was introduced in the Legislative Assembly.
Mr K taraka rama rao (KTR) on Tuesday met the Chief Minister, Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy and presented a representation on the issues of his own constituency Siricilla.
Speaking to the media after meeting the Chief Minister, Mr KTR said that his party’s stand was to support ‘no confidence motion’ against Kiran Kumar Reddy Government in the Assembly. Stating Kiran Government has lost people’s confidence, he said the Congress Government was ineligibile to continue in the State. The TRS was least bothered who would move no confidence motion against Kiran Government in the Assembly, he maintained.
Welcoming the decision of Endowment Minister, Mr Jupalli Krishna Rao on Telangana Statehood issue, he suggested to the Minister to get the acceptance of the Governor for his resignation.
“Separate Telangana agitation will be at peak stage during the month of June and July. There was no lull in the agitation. TRS will continue its agitation till separate Telangana state was achieved”, he said.
Reminding that power looms were not included in weavers loans waiver scheme, the TRS MLA urged the Chief Minister to cover the power looms also under the scheme. He pointed out that there were large number of power looms running in some areas like Siricilla and the owners of the power looms were under neck deep financial problems. He demanded for extension of proposed Pranahitha-Chevella Canal upto Sricilla. In the eight packages of the irrigation project, Sricilla was not covered. The Government would come up with 9th package to cover Sricilla. If the Centre has not approved ninth package, the State Government on its own should bear the expenditure of ninth package of the irrigation project.
