Hyderabad: The Telangana TDP senior leader, Mr Errabelli Dayakar Rao, has made it clear that if necessary they would join hands with the TRS and Congress for the sake of separate Telangana State.

Speaking to the media at TDLP office here on Wednesday along with another leader, Mr Mahender Reddy, Mr Errabelli said the Telangana TDP leaders would consult the like-minded political parties which were ready to fight for Telangana by joining hands with the TDP.

Making it clear that they would not go back on their resignations, he accused the Centre of not responding to the Telangana issue even though hundreds of students and youths were committing suicides for the cause of Telangana. He demanded that the Congress party own responsibility for suicides of youth.

Alleging that there was no consensus among the Central Ministers, Mr Errabelli said the Central Ministers, Mr Chidambaram, Mr Gulam Nabi Azad and Mr Pranab Mukherjee were speaking differently at different places. He said separate Telangana State would be realized if consensus was arrived among the Congress leaders.

He said the government has not lifted the cases filed against the students till today even though it assured to do so. He demanded that the Congress party make statements in Hyderabad instead of making them at Delhi on Telangana issue.

Stating that there was no need of a letter to be given by TDP once again on Telangana issue, he said that it was not proper to the Congress party to accuse other parties without announcing their stand on Telangana. Demanding resignation of the Union Home Minister, Mr P Chidambaram, for not implementing his December 9, 2009 announcement, he said the Congress will be punished in the public court soon.
