Hyderabad: The Telangana Telugu Desam Party Forum (TTDPF) convener Dr Nagam Janardhan Reddy made it clear that all the MLAs of their party from the Telangana region were united.
Speaking at the Assembly media point here on Tuesday along with the party MLAs, Dr Nagam revealed the TTDPF has decided to boycott the Assembly till the ‘Million March’ to be held on March 10. Calling upon the MLAs to participate in the Million March, Dr Nagam said that the party Chief Mr N Chandrababu Naidu had given a green signal to the decisions when TTDPF conveyed the same to the latter.
Making it clear that the Forum will not leave the Telangana slogan till separate State was achieved, he said that it will continue the movement. Demanding the ministers’ from Telangana region to boycott the Assembly session till the ‘Million March’, Dr Nagam said that the Ministers’ have to submit their resignations to the State Governor, if they failed to make the AICC president Ms Sonia Gandhi to announce a clear stand on separate State. He opined that it was not correct for the Ministers’ to attend the House when the Congress MLAs from Telangana region were boycotting the House.
Advising the Congress to stop dramas on Telangana issue, he demanded the Congress party to propose the Telangana bill in the on- going Parliament budget session. He said that it was not proper for the Centre to adopt delay tactics on the Telangana issue. (NSS)
