Hyderabad: Mr Pathuri Sudhakar Reddy, a candidate for the Hyderabad-Mahbubnagar-Ranga Reddy Teachers’ constituency from the United Teachers Front (UTF), assured the woman teachers of Kendriya Vidyalayas that he would strive to get sanction of five special leaves for them. He also assured the KV teachers that he would try to bring their pay anomalies to the notice of the minister concerned.
In a pressnote here on Thursday, the Andhra Pradesh United Teachers’ Federation has stated that its campaign — seeking votes to its candidate, Mr Pathuri Sudhakar Reddy, in the ensuing Teachers’ MLC elections in Kendriya Vidyalayas, has been successful.
The UTF president, Mr N. Narayana, and the general secretary, Mr I Venkateshwar Rao, have said that Mr Sudhakar Reddy has worked for the welfare of teachers and to protect education in the State along with the MLCs, Mr Chukka Ramaiah, Prof. Nageshwar, Mr M V S Sharma and Mr A Balasubrahmaniam.
They stated that they held the campaign supporting Mr Sudhakar Reddy’s candidature in the Kendriya Vidyalayas and succeeded in explaining how Mr Sudhakar Reddy worked for the sake of teachers’ welfare for the last 35 years. They urged the Kendriya Vidyalayas’ teachers to cast their first priority vote to Mr Sudhakar Reddy. (NSS)
