Hyderabad: Demanding that the police and Election Commission immediately take the physical attacks on leaders as serious, the Rajya Sabha member and Congress senior leader, Mr V Hanumantha Rao said that Kadapa would become another Bihar if the police and EC failed to control the unruly mobs in Kadapa district.

Speaking to the media at Fateh Maidan Club here on Sunday, Mr Hanumnatha Rao expressed doubts on Kadapa by-elections. He said that the situation looks like that the people may not cast their votes or not. Accusing the YSR Congress Party Chief Mr YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of making different statements, he said that a few days ago Mr Jagan stated that the Kadapa by-election was between late Dr YSR and the AICC president Ms Sonia Gandhi and today says that the election was between ‘Kadapa Pourusham’ versus Central government. He wondered whether there was no love and admiration in Kadapa people except ‘Pourusham’. (NSS)
