Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills MLA Mr P Vishnuvardhan Reddy appears to be following his father late P Janardhan Reddy, by addressing a letter to the AICC Chief Ms Sonia Gandhi, complaining against the State ministers alleging that they were in ‘touch’ with YSR Congress party Chief Mr YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, internally.
Mr Vishnuvardhan Reddy addressed a letter to Ms Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday stating that the ministers who made open statements against the then Chief Minister Mr K Rosaiah saying that they never recognized him as a Chief Minister but only Mr YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, were regularly in ‘touch’ with each other and showing their upper hand even over the present Chief Minister Mr N Kiran Kumar Reddy. Time and again they were working to strengthen the hands of Mr Jagan. Most of the ministers in the Cabinet were either the internal supporters of Mr Jagan or leaders migrated from other parties mainly from TDP.
Citing the recently concluded MLC elections, Mr Vishnu said in his letter that Congress party MLAs and MPs were supporting Mr Jagan. After having majority votes the party has lost Kadapa, Chittoor, East Godavari and West Godavari MLC seats, and other seats own by the party were with narrow margin. .
He said that it was pertinent to mention that the loyal leaders who were continuing in the party during its ups and downs were literally dominated by these migrants. Corrective measures and stringent action was required to fill confidence in the party leadership and the cadre in the State. Now the situation was such that one can’t counter Mr Jagan effectively, while praising Dr YSR.
Mr Vishnu exuded confidence that Mrs Sonia would prepare a strong decisive action plan to over come the present situation in the State and strengthen the party and its cadre. (NSS)
