Hyderabad: The Seemandhra Congress senior leader, Mr Anam Vivekananda Reddy, has sought ‘No Smoking Zone’ on the Assembly premises. Mr Vivekananda Reddy, who does not hesitate to smoke even in public places, dared to smoke even while speaking to the media on Saturday.

Mr Reddy responded to the media questions while smoking a cigarette simultaneously. He said in a lighter vein that it was his office (referring to CLP) and will not stop smoking when one of the scribes remembered about his smoking saying that it was a public place and not to smoke here.

He immediately lowered his hand holding the cigarette and responded on the queries raised by the media men on abolition of 14(F) Clause. After completion, once again Mr Anam started smoking cigarette lighting it with a match box in front of cameras.

Once again, he started speaking on smoking and said that he observed smoking zones in the national capital. Here in Hyderabad, there are no smoking zones but instructions were imposed on smoking without taking into consideration of the troubles of smokers. He said that it was good to the smokers if the smoking zones were specified in Hyderabad too. It was not good to impose the rules on the smokers without providing proper smoking zones.

He left the CLP premises in his car leaving long smoke puff.
