Hyderabad, February 5: The Lok Sabha member from Rajahmundry, Mr Vundavalli Arun Kumar, on Saturday wrote an open letter to the former MP and late YSR’s son, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. Mr Arun Kumar has opted to write the letter to Mr Jagan in the wake doubts expressed by some leaders on the authenticity of late YSR’s letter to the party high command on the need to forge an alliance with the Praja Rajyam party.

Speaking to media persons here, Mr Arun Kumar said that if anybody felt that “YSR letter to the high command” was fabricated, they are at liberty to prosecute him in a court of law. He also challenged the loyalists of Mr Jagan to get a criminal case registered against him under cyber crime if they felt that the YSR letter was bogus. He also made it clear that he was ready to clear the doubts of Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy on the contents of the letter. He also said that if they want he would email the YSR letter or he would appear before them wherever they wanted him to do so.

The Rajahmundry MP also made it clear that he had released only the first paragraph of the YSR letter mailed to the party high command. But he was ready to hand over the entire letter to Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy, he added. He also said that anybody can come to him to take the letter. Mr Arun Kumar averred that he was one of the close followers of late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and not an ungrateful friend. I always obeyed late YSR and he knew this fact very well, he added. (NSS)
