Hyderabad: The TDP leader, Mr Vem Narender Reddy, has questioned as to why the Congress party, Ms Sonia Gandhi, the Chief Minister and the ministers were hesitating to order inquiry into the ill-gotten wealth of the YSR Congress chief, Mr Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
In a statement here, he has alleged that there was a nexus between the Congress and Mr Jagan and said he would go back to the Congress along with his men, if some important position was offered to him. He said that Mr Jagan, who had acquired wealth through corruption of his father had no right to criticize the TDP which has been the only party that was fighting the corrupt Congress. He said that it was ridiculous that Mr Jagan was projecting himself as the only alternative to the Congress party through his newspaper and TV channel. He said people would never believe such self publicity.
Stating that the TDP would surely move a no-confidence motion whenever the Assembly was convened, he has questioned why Mr Jagan was hesitating to parade his MLAs before the Governor. He said the TDP was fighting on people’s problems to ensure that they were resolved and not to get a certificate from Mr Jagan.
