Why no Telugu Talli statue in SA regions wonders KCR

Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday criticised the Seemandhra leaders for not installing Telugu Talli statues in their regions while the statue of Potti Sriramulu was present in Telangana region.

He alleged that the Seemandhra leaders are making lame excuses about this.

KCR also said that Potti Sriramulu was a great man who launched fast unto death for eleven days and Jawahar Lal Nehru announced formation of the state.

He was speaking while welcoming several leaders from Chennur Assembly constituency in Adilabad district in the Telangana Rashtra Samithi fold on Monday evening.

KCR also announced a massive public meeting at Chennur on August 10, besides a function to pay homage to Prof Jayashankar on August 6 and a Mahila conference on August 9.

He said that the Chennur MLA Nallala Udailu, Adilabad district TRS president Puranam Satish Kumar and others will participate.

Those who joined TRS include Chairman Chennur Marketing committee M Raji Reddy, MPTC members, M Sttayanarayana, K Venkatesh, J Bapu , sarpanches and others.(INN)
