Hyderabad: The Telugu Desam party leaders, Mr Yerrannaidu and Mr Kambhampati Ramamohan Rao, on Saturday called on the State CPI-M Secretary, Mr B V Raghavulu at Indira park, here, where he has been on an indefinite hunger strike demanding that the State government resolve 50 demands concerning various sections of the people in the State.
The indefinite hunger strike undertaken by Mr B V Raghavulu along with his party leaders, Mr S Veeraiah, Mr G Nagaiah and Mr M Babu Rao, entered the third day on Saturday.
Pointing out to the State government’s laxity in addressing the problems of common people, Mr Yerrannaidu alleged that instead of solving the problems of the common people, the State government was resorting to mischievous things. He also said that Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy was not behaving as a Chief Minister.
Refusing to give up his indefinite fast, Mr Raghavulu said that they would continue it and also reiterated that they would resort to agitations in various forms until the grievances of people in the State were redressed. He also felt that it might be the opinion of the State government that all the credit would go to the CPI (M), if it resolves the problems of people in the State. (NSS)
